It doesn’t really matter where you buy your fragrances and perfumes from these days because almost all of it is exactly the same as the next. Sure you get a few varieties between them but you can basically categorise each one into a group of about five or six different smells with one or two minor differences between each one. Fruity smells, woody earthy smells, musk and spicy can all be general categories of these fragrances and all of them will suite a person differently. The whole reason for that is because they are specifically designed or created for a specific skin type in order to cater for everyone. You will often find that there are trends in perfumes that are bought and each person will go for that specific type for a given season, but they will change it by the time they go in to buy there next one.

The whole change of taste from one season to the next has led many perfume manufacturers to change their products constantly. Womens fragrances and perfumes are probably the most prominent ones to change, and they do so almost quarterly. That means that every three months there is something new on the market and people are out there trying it and buying it just because it is new. Back in the days of the ancient Egyptians when Cleopatra was ruling things, she would wear perfume as a symbol of her status and her superiority and in many ways that hasn’t changed even to this day. Alcohol based fragrances are often quite temperamental when it comes to skin type and depending on how your skin reacts to the perfume that would then determine how the smell is given off. If the wrong group of smells come off your skin it could turn out really bad and you won’t smell the way the perfume does when it comes out the bottle. For that reason it is imperative for you to check it on your body before you go out and spend that kind of money on a fragrance. Each fragrance will have a different strength to it when you put it on. If you prefer not to have something strong then you can at least go for a lighter fragrance that is more floral and fruitier. Heavier fragrances tend to be spicier and have a strong effect on the nose when you smell them.

It’s always a good idea to choose a smell that suites your personality and your skin type before you spend the money on it.
